God's plan isn't always ours. I've been working on this new album, trying to set up some play dates, and everything has just... come to a halt. I recorded RUNNING ON EMPTY because I felt the Lord leading me to. (Ok, this is the part where you're allowed to say Im weird.) It wasn't on my. list of songs to record, but then it got some airplay and touched a lot of lives. So I figured, nice... but it probably won't be on the album. Then, Life got in the way. I have 3 songs more than half done but can't seem to finish. And then, when I was ready to record again, BAM! the studio I was recording at temporarily shut down for a little over a month in the summer. In the meantime, I had written some personal worship songs that God put on my heart, that I was singing in church. I felt the Holy Spirit whispering to me.... "record these songs." And so, I am. Today. we tracked most of 2 new worship songs. They aren't what I was expecting to record. But I think God has a plan for them. I hope. you like them. I can't wait to share them with you. I hope they become a song of your heart. I hope they speak to you and minister to you and draw you closer to Jesus. I'll provide some studio clips later on. Until then... Blessings!
